You could buy 5 Chromecasts for the price of one of these Intel sticks, so it seems not a fair comparison. BUT, chances are you really are going to only use one or the other, so in that way it is necessary to decide.

They are apples vs oranges.

Chromecast = Media Player

Stick = Computer

I am still thinking I want a NUC though.
