"Seriously?" was not my argument. My argument was that there have been far worse atrocities in communist countries than the problems described in the US. It does not necessarily follow that commnist/marxist ideology on its own was the cause of the atrocities. In fact, i'd say there's a good argument that they were ultimately caused by ignorant power-seekers misapplying the ideology for their own benefit.
