Honestly we ALL know that the reason modern computing sucks is Javascript. And until we replace it with something fundamentally less awful, it'll eat every last CPU Second we have.
The fact that we took Javascript out of the browser and started to allow it to be used server side was a sad day to me. Like who let the patients run the sanitarium with that decision?
