power efficiency aside (which admittedly is non-trivial), this is not that big a deal or particularly interesting, imo.



This is a mobile processor being compared to flagship desktop processors.

Apple’s lead is almost unfathomable.


two process nodes difference. apple have bought out all of TSMC’s “3nm” capacity. they obviously consider it an important competitive advantage.
