School boards already successfully do this with 'student laptops' also known as in-home monitoring devices that cannot be switched off.


Well, one difference is that those laptops belong to the school. They don’t put in-home monitoring devices on privately owned devices.

That said, it’s still creepy, I agree.


Has there been a case where a school board activated such a device to spy on the parents? That would be absolutely mental.
