I wondered if traffic between the UK and Europe ran through the Channel Tunnel - which would be much harder to surreptitiously cut without being noticed and yes 80% of traffic does:

Many people for some reason believe that Brutalism was a Soviet invention but no, it originated in the post-WW2 Britain and spread from there.


It was heavily influenced from outside Britain though, particularly Le Corbusier
