Doesn't sound that massive to me. It's a low- to mid-level European hourly rate.
EDIT: To clarify, I'm talking about the gross hourly rate for contractors in Europe, not the net hourly rate for FTEs. (The latter of which is typically lower but already comes with benefits – health insurance, pension fund, unemployment insurance et cetera – included.)
