I own the games Myst 1993 for Windows 95 and I own the point and click adventure Ankh 2005 on Linux ported by RuneSoft. Only one of the 2 games I am able to run on modern hardware on a modern Linux without going the extra mile of compiling stuff.

It's a shame but older Windows software runs better under wine then old Linux software does under Linux. Maybe we need a line?!
