I rather focus on building content rather than have to maintain my page in dart and in JavaScript because of fragmentation issues.

Dart compiles to JavaScript, and the language is pretty standard stuff, if you know any C style language you can pick it up quickly.

That initial 17 KLOC Hello World was an abomination, but it isn't looking anywhere near as bad these days.
