I just assumed he made up the idea of a Filipina resistance fighter afflicted with leprosy.

He is such a good writer, I'm listening to quicksilver at the moment. The way he twists and turns a story and weaves in history is so enjoyable.

Incredible story. Bravery like this is always special and deserves to be publicized. I'm happy she was actually rewarded in some small way.
