How do phishing emails sent from“ noreply.link” get through email spam filters?
1 point by wholien on Sept 17, 2021 | hide | past | favorite | 1 comment
Every couple of days, I will get an email from the "@noreply.link" domain, like "github@noreply.link" or "google@noreply.link" or some other address.

This domain must be caught countless number of times already, so why can't Gmail or outlook or anything just block these obvious spam attempts? They probably are catching many, but how do some get through? What kind of spoofing are they doing?

Thanks!

Do you mean that is in the From envelope or it is in FCrDNS of the connecting servers (cloudflare)? Can you post an example of the email headers? Be sure to redact any personally identifiable information.
