I admire their courage and no-nonsense approach to PR. Great read.


What is the liability structure of this approach?


It's L2 autonomy, so the driver of the car is still expected to be the driver of the car. Liability doesn't change if a car crash occurs while Comma's system is engaged.

Although, this could be tested in court if OpenPilot (Comma's software) ever does something like refusing to disengage and causes a wreck.
