I agree with many of the other similar comments, having dark-mode supported by default would be good BUT we don't need it. It's already well supported by several styling extensions. I do need it, on an iPhone there is no way to apply userstyles :/.

However, if we want to keep HN clean, but help users with closed mobile browsers, how about we add an option to add own css url in HN profile?

This way I could even create my own dark theme and have it available on all of my devices.
