At the moment people seem to be more interested in helping out their mates and getting the place cleaned up. I'm sure the questions will be asked soon. It's been good to see the volunteering and general good will surrounding this event, any politicians who have tried to make political statements in relation to the crisis have been widely condemned.

After the 74 floods, we built a dam (Wivanhoe) to prevent it from happening again, and yet we came not far from the 74 levels - amazing to think what would have happened without that dam!
