Its great but obviously has not the best syntax - a problem inherited from latex. Penrose seems to have a clean simple syntax, and I would definitely try it once its more mature.

Personally I find the tikz syntax to be reasonably good. It’s slightly weird in places but I think it’s much nicer than eg svg
