Dear Sam,

Eight months ago you wrote a blog post titled, "Keep the Internet Open" (http://blog.samaltman.com/keep-the-internet-open) where you wrote:

"We need to make our voices heard. We won this fight once before, and we can win it again. I really hope an activist or tech leader will step up and organize this fight (and I'm happy to help!). It's important for our future."

Well, the fight is here, and I don't see tech leaders stepping up in the same way they did when we won this fight before. What's going on? We need you, Sam. We need more than just your help. We need your leadership. We need you to show us with your actions how outraged and panicked we should be. We need you to put on hold whatever it is that you're doing and make this issue your primary focus. We need you to recruit every tech leader in your contact list to do the same.

Please, Sam. We really need you.
