I might need to build a IDE soon, and I briefly looked at using VS Code for a base, but determined that it was a bit of overkill for my purposes. Out of curiosity, what was Sourcegraph running prior to this in-browser VS Code?

Before this, we were using a little bit less of VS Code. Before that, we had a much more minimal but custom frontend.
