Can you not? Like as in you have aphantasia and can't picture things, or you just don't readily imagine stuff? Because if it's the first one I'm sorry for you, but in the second case it is something you can practise.
This "trend" seems just so sad to me, but the truth is, the title sells. Unfortunately that means changing the original name to something totally different in translation just as the publisher wants to sell the book. I don't think this is right but as long as it is the will of the writer it will make just him look ridiculous because of the ways he used to sell.
That would be such a shame! I understand that the costs are just too high to be paid by a state institution, but usually a collector's interest isn't always to use the masterpiece to educate.
