Love scrimba. One of my all-time favorite ways to learn programming.

Will check out the new course. Keep up the great work!

This looks great. Have been looking for something like this. Will give it a try

Loved seeing the real world examples of cold calling. Wish more people would try this.

Does this work on the web or just in-app? What is Apple's Commission?

Looks like Apple's commission is ~15-25 BPS for participating banks

The biggest “surprise” over last 2 months is that Apple has squeezed 15-25bps from the 5-6 participating banks at launch (C, BAC, COF, JPM, Amex and perhaps WFC).

I am confused by this as well. I thought apple did not allow people to make credit card purchases within an app, am I wrong or will these rules change? Where is the line drawn for using an IAP vs Apple Pay (where I presume Apple takes no cut)

I think traditionally Apple has disallowed IAP for real-world goods. I'm assuming Apple Pay will be for those real-world goods while IAP is still used for digital goods.

Yes, the docs say exactly this.

Hey everyone, I put together a library to help make iOS client/server apps. It's a combo of SDScaffoldKit, a scaffolding framework for iOS, AFNetworking + AFIncrementalStore, a great data syncing framework, and the heroku-core-data-buildpack. This project wouldn't be possible without the great open-source work of Mattt Thompson and the Heroku team.

It's not a silver bullet, but it's a great way to start your next iOS project. The code created is something you can actually build on top of without being locked into a platform. You can even change the server out for any REST-based endpoint. Plus, it's free and open-source. I created a screencast to show how it all works. I would love to hear what you think. Happy coding :)

Looks great - nice work!

Looking forward to taking some time to properly look into this. Would I be right in thinking that there are some scenarios which won't work out of the box, like offline edits? Or does SDScaffoldKit add some extra magic to cater for this?

Thanks for putting this up!

not to be a jerk, but organize is spelt incorrectly in your title tag. should be 'organize' not 'organise'

We’re English so it’s hard to balance the two; we used ‘favorite’ as that’s what they’re called on Twitter but proper English has crept in in places. We’ll probably move over to all American–English at some point.

Cheers! H
