Second that, espnow + broadcast mesh is the way to go

It's good to be mice

Looks like we might end up with the new web designed entirely for machine intelligence.

What RDF was supposed to be for, though an extra to the web not an alternative.

I hope context window is not limited by 32k

Zilog could get a bigger market share. Still remember those times programming in Z80 machine code. It was much more flexible and convenient versus 8080.

You can find Zilog in embedded systems, they are not dead at all.

A few issues with DIY Alarm system to think about:

- no ESD (high voltage impulse) protection - reliable power source - compatibility with external centralized security systems protocols

I guess in every country any kind of monopoly leads to inflated prices and stagnation. We also have so many outdated and cost ineffective security systems here.

> no ESD (high voltage impulse) protection

From the grid? See below. On the inputs? No, you're right.

> reliable power source

Not included in this post, because I'm not done with it yet, is the backup battery. The entire system runs on a 7.2Ah leaf-acid battery, which is connected to an electronic charger. So the alarm system power is isolated from the mains. I'm going to document this later in the series, when I'm all done :)

> compatibility with external centralized security systems protocols

I didn't really consider this, but it's easy to add if needed. Any examples?

The purpose is not really clear from abstract:

This document specifies a new URI scheme called http+srv which uses a DNS SRV lookup to locate a HTTP server. The http+srv scheme operates in the same way as an http scheme but instead of the normal DNS A record lookup that a http scheme would use, it uses an DNS SRV lookup. This memo also defines a https+srv scheme that operates in the same was a an https URI but uses DNS SRV lookups.

cat myfile.txt > /dev/null Is a way cheaper :)

Is this is an IQ test?

Yes. If you are able to follow instructions you will not turn the oven on with the phone inside.

unless it's a recent generation iphone w wireless rapid charging

It says in red at the top to not turn on your microwave. This seems to be testing if WiFi waves can get through the microwave.

It’s interesting the browser can get access to this information with no prompts

All it does is measures ping. No direct WiFi measurements just the timing of regular network requests.

> It’s interesting the browser can get access to this information with no prompts

Exactly what information is it getting ? What Chrome API is this using ?

Would be perfect to have ble/wifi connectivity on the same board.

Yes, that in combination with Micro Python would make it an esp32 killer for me.
