I used screenhero for some remote work. It's great for pair programming and helping debug a problem remotely. Since our team used Slack, I really wished Slack would add similar functionality to their product. Glad to see that it's going to happen now, and will be built by the people who built the awesome screehero product. Congrats guys! hope to see more awesome work from you!

Thanks! We are looking forward to doing more awesome for you :)

In my experience (speaking from the employer point of view), SO Careers has been pretty good. Most of the people who applied were looking to work remotely (which was fine by us), so that might skew the experience (as in, not sure what the response quality would be if we didn't select "remote work ok" given that most of our respondents wanted to work remotely).

Not my site. Just found it and thought it was worth sharing.

Not sure if they print the whole thing with colors or if the printed piece is colored later on.

At least in the non-food printers, it's printed in color. They use dyes mixed into the binder and print it out exactly like an inkjet printer does.

That art looks next to impossible to paint onto the printed piece. Seems plausible that it could be done during printing. Some of these are really beautiful...

Looks like they lay down a thin layer of sugar and bind it with an inkjet head. So they can print layer by layer in full color.

Slack lets you add custom emoji too: https://twitter.com/SlackHQ/status/437028458627989504

Oh cool, thanks I missed that update

We are Rails based, but are happy to hire people with Python + Django experience too, if they are willing to learn. We have hired people before who didn't have much Rails experience but came with an overall solid background in programming and were able to pick up Rails pretty quickly.
