If you get a quote, run it through this calculator first. The site only has two partners right now, but check them out anyway.

Also, the blog has some information for how to calculate what your costs are going to be: http://www.quotesignal.com/blog//?p=4

It's a three-part series.

Tough crowd tonight!

I think he's at home resting. Probably recovering from carpal tunnel syndrome.

I would have thought there'd be a few more wiggles of false hope just before the trough of sorrow. You know, to make the trough of sorrow that much deeper and painful!

I don't know, a lot of these guidelines seem to be arbitrary. It's good practice to keep code small and to the point, but to say that a class should never exceed 50 lines of code is a little too exact and makes the whole list a bit suspect.

I started with C and then quickly realized that BASIC was much more fun, precisely because it was easier and therefore more fun.

I think he's referring to your usage of "u". Adding four characters to your title isn't that hard, and the above poster "newbie" or not is right, I think we'd all prefer to see "you" instead of "u".

"u've" has got to be the most interesting grammatical construct I've seen online. I mean look at it, it's like he's trying to be correct, but not at the same time.

Hey, that's a subtle observation. I wonder what linguists would call this. It looks a bit like an overcorrection (the classic example of that is when people use "I" as an object, as in Bill Clinton's famous campaign line, "That's very important to Al Gore and I"). But I'm not sure it's the same thing.

I would prefer you to use a different username. i am 100% sure jkush is not your real name, but is close to it. now why don't you drink your own koolaid and not morphed words. You have done the same with your username as I have done with "u". jkush. are you serious?

That, sir, is bizarre logic.

Lol, you have one hell of an attitude problem.

downmods all posts by rokhayakebe

go ahead. be my guest. if this makes you any happier. i could give you a good 200 and still be ahead of you. frankly i can care the less i am not running a popularity contest, i think that is what makes the difference between YC and other communities. you can downmod all day, i can really care the less. what do you think will happen if i ask 10 people to go and downmod you all day. i outsource by trade, so believe it, when i say you will end up with 0 karma points in less than 57 minutes.

Stop filling up the comment threads with this crap.

What crap? Defending my position is nothing crappy at all. Some users being offending by punctuation is crappy. Like we are in a beauty pageant. This user is talking about downmoding all my previous posts that have nothing to do with this one. What is crappier then that? Disappointing.

Windows only at the moment though, they appear to be working on MacOSX.

I think the beauty of these types of sites is that we've probably haven't heard of many of them.

This is incredibly insightful advice. Almost accidentally, I've found that recursively asking "why?" results in very unexpected answers. And by unexpected I mean insightful.
