All everyone wants is the mac OS and to put it on any machine they want. Thats all..

I want that provided there's a laptop out there with comparable build quality. I don't much mind who produces it, but - as an example - a trackpad that is at least 75% as good as Apple's is an absolute must.

Speak for yourself.

Whoever builds an easy hackintosh with metabox level specs will have my business

Has anyone got any really life practices of LPWA? I'm not convinced there is a need for this kind of thing. Tiny sensors with batteries that last years. Most devices have a power source the sensor can tap into thus what are the applications for LP?

There are lots of things right now which talk over two-way paging networks. This is called "machine to machine communication". Most messages look something like "A/C 3152 fault 00 cp1 ON cp2 OFF inside temp 72 outside temp 81". It's common to send text rather than binary so that both humans and machines can read the messages.

Millions of boring but important devices such as pumps, chillers, and fans are sending boring but useful messages like that. Traffic is low, maybe every hour or even once a day when things are normal. A fault generates an immediate message.

Power isn't a problem. Most of the devices which do this are attached to something that has far more power than a radio needs.

Pretty damning report.

Wim Hof people Wim Hof

Wim Hof is an individual case study that has done research in this area, and other related phenomena (breathing and autonomous response control)[1]

Not sure it's any more or less "bro science" then this article, but it's interesting and relevant enough to be worth talking about here I think.

I read his book and started practicing several months ago. The other week I played in the ocean for 20 minutes and it didn't bother me at all. Checked the water temperature afterwards and it was 56 degrees.

I haven't started with his breathing exercise, just practice, attitude, and knowing what to expect count for a lot.

Use the Wim Hof method

D'oh.

The Saudis own one. I captured it last year.

That's a great low-light shot. What kind of camera were you using?

Also, looked up that particular plane and found that it's current operated by the Saudi government, so that's pretty interesting:

Maybe he used a Canon EOS 6D with Focal Length: 120 Exposure Time: 1/50 at ISO: 12800.

The link you must have clicked lists it all

Ah, yes, there it is. I didn't initially scroll any lower than the watermark.

Love Agoda by the way.

Really simple way especially in Australia to solve the lack of bike friendly roads.

BUILD BIKE LANES NEXT TO RAIL ROADS!!!!

Super handy, Ive applied for air traffic controlling in Australia and these mathematical albeit harder questions are part of the testing.

Can you make a large bank of harder questions?

Similar to the level of the calculation test on http://www.shldirect.com/en/practice-tests
