No, but Codex wouldn’t have asked you those questions either

For me, it still asks for confirmation at every decision when using plans. And when multiple unforeseen options appear, it asks again. I don’t think you’ve used Codex in a while.

It asks you what your coworkers are working on and whether the thing you are working on are your boss’ number one priority?

skill issue

>If ChatGPT could be bound to a power button long-press, then I'd cease to use Siri for this use case

This should be possible, go to Settings->Action Button->Controls and search for ChatGPT

I’m unsure if the same applies to older macbook screens, but I’ve found that polarized sunglasses help alot with reducing glare and the marks/dust on the retina screen. Combined with the HDR hacks you mentioned above I can sit in sun with sunglasses and still keep dark mode on while coding

I will note that Bower’s last non-hotfix release was 8 years ago :)

I’ve got big hands!

Here's a version that keeps closer to the original text while fixing the main typos:

Very happy with https://supermaven.com. Switched to it from Copilot, and it's faster and has a much better understanding of what I'm trying to do. I think it uses a git diff + some other stuff that it feeds into the context window that makes it so that when I'm working on a new feature, when i’m creating say the 3rd it understands what I'm going to write even if the file is empty.

Supermaven is brilliant, been using it for probably 4 months and can't imagine ever cancelling this subscription unless something better comes out.

Supermaven didn't work for me at all. Tried contacting support - no reply. On the other hand, TabNine serves me well for several years now.

Extremely happy with supabase here, it has mostly eliminated the need for a backend, letting me just focus on making valuable stuff for my users. I also ended up making my entire app realtime just because it was easier

No but that's kinda good lol

That exists already! I use this one, which works on a bunch of other sites as well: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/news-feed-eradicat...

I’m not going to speak on how this could be hard to implement in other countries, but in my country selling a ticket above the price it was bought for is illegal, and as a result (maybe there is other factors in in play but) it’s basically a non-issue here

100% correct.

In addition to being generally legal in the US, in key markets, resale cannot legally be constrained. A venue or artist cannot legally institute policies or practices to prohibit resale.

Even if resale were prohibited or technically impossible, it will not necessarily be any easier to get tickets to a high demand event as resale is only a factor when an event has enough demand to sell out far in advance of playing.

Resale is prohibited for (some?) ticketmaster events, unless you resell through Ticketmaster, allowing them to double-dip on the transaction fee.

So, it would be hard for them to make the argument you are making. They directly profit from resale (that they “can’t legally ban”) because their ban on resale is legal.

I’ve never heard this, what country?

Norway! I think it’s somewhat similar in the nearby countries, but I don’t know for sure. You’re not even allowed to add the ticketmaster fee to your reseller price, so it’s techincally cheaper to buy it second-hand

I wonder if that has lowered Ticket master's fees compared to Denmark, where resale prices can include the fees.

Also Denmark.

You can resell for the total price including fees, but no more.

South Korea too.

Context? Can’t find any in the thread

Unity is a popular game engine/editor.

They have been struggling financially under a CEO that is known to make a mess of everything he touches. Now he has decided that to turn his sinking ship around every game that uses their engine has to pay some amount per install. This will kill them in the free-to-play and indie market where unity is currently the leader.

KennyNL is an indie gamedev and a very popular maker of free-to-use assets. Many gamedevs probably use his assets for their first prototypes.
