Nice! I love The Fountain references :)

AFAIK the device is just a GPS transponder. On my Civic it was plugged into the same port that's used to test emissions.

It sounds like it could include OBD functionality, then - or it might just be grabbing 12V from there.

I used Carlypso to sell my Honda Civic a few months ago. Everyone involved was helpful and professional. I ended up getting a lot more than I would if I traded it in to CarMax, and the steps involved were minimal. I'd definitely recommend them.

Ugh, I live in Chicago and had to use Carmax last night to dump a car I wasn't using. I could've gotten more if I spent time on Craigslist, giving test drives, etc but the ~$1500/difference wasn't worth it to me.

Carlypso, come to Illinois. Please.

Which method did you use? (there are 3 options after enter your car info).

I am thinking of selling my Honda Element and the prices offered seem pretty low.

At the time the only option available was "Carlypso Concierge".

Carlypso listed my car slightly under what kbb.com said it was worth, which was fine with me. I assume this was to speed up sales.

I'm at a friend's house who has Comcast and I can't load any pages from pcworld.com, and http://www.isup.me/pcworld.com says it's just me. Hopefully that's just a coincidence...

Same here... I wonder what's up with that.

They didn't pay for the fast lane.

https://www.debuggex.com/ is a nice alternative that is a little different from other regex sites I've seen.

This is fantastic, thanks for sharing. Now I just wish there were something like this for Python/Django...

I have these two aliases in my .zshrc file:

  alias ..="cd .."
  alias ...="cd ../.."
For moving around to other directories I use autojump (https://github.com/joelthelion/autojump).

I have the same, but I use cd[a]+:

alias cda='cd ../' alias cdaa='cd ../../' alias cdaaa='cd ../../../'

I guess I was influenced by Lisp at the time, with car, cdr, cdar, cddr, etc ;-)

You saw that naming scheme and thought "wow, that's sensible"?!

I'm on FiOS and have also been suffering through terribly slow speeds with YouTube and Twitch.tv. I found that discussion on Reddit about a week ago, and it did temporarily fix my problem. However, after a day or so I noticed my speeds went back down to a crawl.

I also experienced this temporary speed increase (from barely streaming 240p to getting smooth 1080p) if I switched locales (adding "&gl=CA" to the end of the URL) or switched to HTTPS.
