My toddler asks to watch that one most days and it is just horrible! Especially when the episode ends with Ringo saying "I think he deserves his punishment, don't you?"
That's odd to read. The scouts are very different in the UK. They have an explicit "Open to all" policy. I know several scout leaders who are gay, plenty who are women, and I believe they've removed the mention of god from the pledge.
Never played Pokemon Go but in Ingress I'm pretty sure playing with multiple accounts (and devices) was a bannable offense.
I did meet a guy who carried a ridiculous amount of gear for playing. Batteries, portable wifi modules for group meets, antennae. Sims for every network in case signal was unavailable for some. Satelite phone for when there was none.
Yeah, completely crazy the lengths some players go to. People travel a long way for events or to exchange keys to make big links and fields. More of a trot around the park thing for me (and the occasional pub meetup)
Wife and I use the Kore app. Less likely to forget where my phone is than a dedicated remote. Handy to have the youtube plugin and share a video to kodi from that app too.
Tried to combine running a craft beer retailer with some remote programming work for a while. Struggled with it as customers always appear at the wrong moment and switching between brain modes was weird and didn't help me concentrate when there was peace later
One of the ways in which admins often treat instances like their own petty fiefdom is cutting off communication with other instances that don't toe the line. So sure, you can move instances - just don't rely on being able to contact your friends anymore if you do. (Some instances even have a whitelist of instances that are allowed to follow and interact with their users, with everyone else blocked.)
