You can surely fork it on github. I wrote this extension for myself and I don't need any more functionality. But if someone wants a thing or two, I will try to implement it. But at the moment there's no interest from the user base, so I'm not willing to code new features. It would be good to be able to configure it more. For example, to show that properties box only if user is holding Ctrl or something like that. Or to show the box near the cursor, and not in the corner.

I think that is because that under 5 chars, there is not that many usernames.

It would also be odd with a username on only 1 char?

I think there would be a lot of personalized usernames, which is what I'm going for. Imagine having having a personalized link like domain.com/jon or domain.com/tim. There's definitely a lot of demand for such personalized usernames.

I just miss a service, where I pay for what i use, and I would then hear if hackers also wanted that? or they where just fine with dropbox two packages :)

What your asking for is not something you can find on the internet, that has to be found with real connections! You have to go out and meet people, the right people! Hackathon, meetings!

If you do ask on the internet, you should show what you have done before or something you have made. A website about your yourself. Saying you have an idea, that is in fact not that much.

Ideas are nothing, execution is everything!
