5 days after Tesla gave xAi 2 billion.

Funnel money from a public company to a private entity and then make it disappear. Poof! Magic.

My team has been kicking around the idea of using images to trip up candidates using some kind of AI in their ear.

Things like diagrams and questions written on paper the held up to the webcam.

AI is really good at this though. Not CSI levels, but better than some humans. And tool use is at the level that they can do two things at the same time, which is why playing pokemon is a benchmark now.

What would be the benefit of this project over hosting VLLM in Ray?

That sounds extremely interesting. Do you have particular books you would recommend?

TR's autobiography is in the public domain, for one

I have two circular gel disks to protect my elbows from rubbing the desk too hard (I've put holes in several uniforms). The product is called jelbows.

One of the nsa's biggest breaches was perpetrated by a guy who admitted to bestiality during his polygraph.

lol, you can’t just leave us hanging here

Correlation doesn't imply causation.

Today was the first day the quality of Google search results pushed me to another search company (duck duck go). I was trying to find info on the Virginia Beach shooting. And every query I tried brought the exact same results. 'Virginia Beach shooting reddit' brought no reddit, only the same ~6 news sources. I wasn't even in a personalized algorithm bubble (using an anonymous browser). The propaganda potential of Google seems to be actualizing rapidly (or maybe just my cognizance of it).

The reason they did this was fear of attack from the media. You can find dozens of articles saying how Google & Facebook are "promoting the alt-right", the end result being mainstream media sources more promoted than ever. Go figure.

You can see the same thing on YouTube.

I am very interested in trying jiu jitsu, but am afraid of injuring my knee and not being able to run distance. I've read many accounts stating tearing a knee is inevitable when rolling as a beginner with beginners. Is it reasonable to train jiu jitsu if distance running is your primary objective? Or is it just too risky?

I've been training BJJ for just over 8 years (Brown belt) and I've only hurt my knee once... wrestling, and I train at an academy that has a strong emphasis on leg locks. The best way to avoid injuries, regardless of if they are to your knees or other, if to learn when to tap. Take the time to go slowly, and take care not to go too hard.

Most of the injuries from BJJ happen when you're stubborn about tapping, or when people go too hard on a move they don't understand. BJJ is a long journey, so you want to train with injury prevention in mind. Hope that helps.

You don’t need to damage your knees. Find a school that doesn’t let white belts do leg locks on each other. Lower back is what to watch for, as keeping posture can take some power at the start. The biggest challenge is total hours. Adding 4-6 hours a week of Jiu Jitsu to the 8-10 required for distance training is a lot of overall wear and tear.

Not to be the conspiracy theorist... But have you ever heard of plum island? Specifically the Plum Island Animal Disease Center which developed bio weapons utilizing ticks as the disease vector? Operations started in 1952. There were several documented cases of poor containment practices and two likely means of transporting the disease back to the mainland (swimming deer and geese). The evidence is pretty damning. Check out the book Lab 257.

I also stopped enjoying my favorite hobby, running on deer trails and through dense forests. I check intently for ticks after ever forest excursion, but it is very disheartening when I find one. They are so incredibly small it seems impossible not to missed one. Plus it is extremely difficult to check your hair and back and I rarely have a running partner. All in all, Lyme disease, indian genocide, and invasion of Libya are my top 3 atrocities US gov has committed.

Thanks, that is another possibility to consider.

The majority of currently tracked space debris is the result of a single anti-satellite missile test China conducted. So less collisions more weapon based destruction. And any future conflict (between nation's reliant upon gps guided weapons)will likely start with anti-satellite warfare. This worries me greatly.
