The Fourier transform and its computational offshoot, the Fast Fourier Transform. We wouldn't have any of modern electronics and telecommunications without the mathematical insight that the FT brought. The fact that you can go from the time domain to the frequency domain and back again is nothing less than astounding. Optics was also benefitted by the FT because you can use is to filter unwanted optical frequencies and diffraction effects from your images using Fourier transformation.
I agree with you. Culture will be a larger factor in a font preference. The reason I'm asking is because I'm writing a blog dealing with tech topics but oriented towards women. I know for a fact that there are a lot of women that would like more tech information but less skewed towards the male viewpoint.
Hello Peter:
I'm a U.S. male citizen who married a Mexican single mom. The child is a U.S. citizen as well. We're in the process of getting my wife a green card. Because of my job in L.A., and because my wife's business interests are in Mexico, we have a commuter marriage. She intends to stay in Mexico until we're empty nesters. Will that be a problem in the interview when getting her green card?
Thanks much
You might have to do some explaining but in my experience, when a marriage is legitimate, even if the couple is living apart, the green card application always gets approved.
I usually try to make a UML Sequence diagram so I know what classes are being instantiated and what methods are being called as well as what's being returned. Also, I try to make as many type hierarchies as I can, especially when abstract classes are involved.
